Travis J. Abel O.D.

Dr. Travis Abel received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated cum laude from Coastal Carolina University, where he was a member of Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia. Dr. Abel was awarded clinical honors at his multiple clinical rotations. He gained experience working with low vision patients while at the William G. Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, for which he was also awarded clinical honors. In 2015, he was an Opencare.com Patient's Choice Winner. Dr. Abel is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.  

Dr. Abel is a man of many hobbies. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and his pets.
